Before purchasing this item, I contacted the seller to request pictures of the Western Hemisphere of the globe and promptly received the pictures requested. After receiving the pictures, I immediately ordered the globe which arrived more than a week sooner than I'd expected. The globe makes for a great desk ornament, and weeks later I'm still pleased with my purchase.
